Groove Cartell performed at the UK's largest Beer Festival 'Peterborough Beer Festival' on 24th August 2022 with their largest lineup since forming in 2005. Calling on our pool of brass players we put together a five piece horn section, giving a ten piece band with a huge sound.
We have performed at Festivals, Clubs and Functions across the UK including the Camden Jazz Cafe, Secret Garden Party, Mostly Jazz | Funk & Soul Festival and supported Shalamar.
Our repertoire is based around danceable tunes from classic Funk & Soul to contemporary tunes, reworked to showcase our brass section. Current artists include Prince, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Cool & the Gang, Chic with our set tailored to suit your Event.
